When you email me, your email provider and mine process the message and its metadata. I use it only to answer and manage the resulting conversation.
Privacy choices
The site stores one essential value in your browser so it can remember whether you accepted anonymous analytics. Choosing “Essential only” prevents the analytics script from loading.
Anonymous analytics
If you opt in, this site loads a self-hosted Umami tracker from the same Hetzner server used to host the portfolio in Germany. It measures page views and basic technical context without advertising cookies. Do Not Track is respected. No names, email addresses, message contents or stable account identifiers are sent as analytics events.
Analytics data is retained for no longer than 13 months, then deleted or aggregated. Umami session replay and heatmaps are disabled.
Infrastructure logs
The hosting platform may temporarily record security and request metadata such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path and browser user agent to operate and protect the service. These logs are not used for advertising.

You can clear this site's browser storage to reset your analytics choice. You may also ask what personal data I hold about a direct conversation, or request correction or deletion where applicable.
